Hi,

Re: http://help.appmakr.com/forums/90341/entries/92981

I thought you might like to add the following info into the FAQ if using
Yahoo Pipes as it helped me.

1. I recommend adding a "Sort" box, so that the posts of each RSS feed you
combine are sorted in date order, so that you get one display in the iPhone
app, but all entries are sorted according to when they were posted into the
feeds.

(I'd still prefer AppMakr to do this combination and sorting for me as I
really dislike using yet another site for RSS feeds).

2. If you are adding in Feedburner feeds into Yahoo Pipes to combine, I
found that it worked best if I switched off the "NoFollow" block to Yahoo
Pipes within Feedburner. See "SafariScreenSnapz002.jpg" attached.

Cheers,

XXX

Yahoo Pipes is great but you never really know what you are going to feed your audience. I have a tool that will let you take the RSS from Yahoo Pipes and other sources and "moderate" it. That is preview and select just the content you think is appropriate for your audience and output your selections to a moderated RSS feed. It is like playing DJ at a radio station only you are playing news not music. Like a DJ the tool assumes you have domain expertise to select the best content for your audience. Moderating the content does take a little more time than you put into yahoo pipes, but your audience will appreciate the extra effort and value that effort brings to the table.
