I am having the same problem and now I am not even sure if I should be upgrading to os 10.7.3 to make this work. I am so close and do not know what else to do.

@Hayley,
The thing i normally do is upgrade my computer and re-install Xcode :-)
Same problem when trying to upload the app from application loader.
"There is no dwarfdump executable defined."
Any clue?

I just ran into this problem as well. Can somebody please help me on what to do. I can not figure it out for the life of me, and it is very frustrating. The exact same error message.

@Jacco,
That works if you are running snow leopard :-)

I solved the problem by re-installing an older version of Application Loader as I'm not running Lion and for this reason cannot install X-code.
Susan, try this and see if it works:
Delete/uninstall the Application Loader. Downloaded and install Xcode, then delete/uninstal Application Loader, then re-install Application Loader.
If that doesn't work post back here and we'll try to figure something out.
@Susan,
Have you tried the solutions posted below:

I noticed on the App build page, it shows "Type: Test on iPhone" . But I did click the "Create App store". Can that be an issue?
Thanks.
Li Chen
This may be a problem with the app,
Try rebuilding, If that does not work email me :-)
