My App now on Android Market, but its not! please help...

I have successfully published my app to the android market place now.
it was pretty quick and easy to do... However...
even though it says its now published, i cannot find it at all within the android market place.
i have searched via my computer and on an android phone. can anyone please advise me on what i may have done wrong?
i have looked at my published app within my android developers account and the only thing i can see that maybe of any relevance i have attached below.
it defaults to being ticked in the check box and i assume it means by clicking it, my app will only be available within the android / google market only? which is fine... but as i said, i cannot locate it in searches.
please advise / help... as this is the second platform in 24hrs to publish my app, the other being windows 7 and already im having issues/glitches with both platforms.
any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Not sure i follow, as in the very last thing i did... sorry...
I submitted it from within my android account. filled all relevant conetnt, uploaded the file/app as well as screen shots etc that they ask for. checked/clicked relevant terms and conditions.
i have just checked and my android account now shows that the app has been downloaded 18 times/users. but i still cannot find it on the market place searches.
any help would be really appreciated.

Just one questions, before I investigate further—when you say that you published to the Android marketplace, what was the last thing that you did?
