Definitely would use this and I'd be willing to pay an annual licence fee similar to what we pay to Apple for a developer account.

the features are great but the model and pricing doesn't match my needs. Please make a appmakr version :)

all my apps could be iPad apps.
Any plans to put an option to make the app a universal one?... I mean with relative size?..
thanks

Hi AppMakr!
iphone appmakr created app that natively displays in ipad full size on startup, would be nice.
For example an optional checkbox in appmakr settings for the app:
[ x ] Enable my app to display in ipad native full size on startup when launched on an ipad
That would be neat! =)

Aquafadas has a neat plugin for CS5 In Design with no coding neededbut want $8500 a year and about $300 each time you submit an iPad/iPhone App to the store. Its cool coz its smooth and intergrates alot of native IOS functionality but very expensive.
Its good if you've got a contract with several local magazines or newspapers - if not then WOW - thats expensive but still cheaper than hiring a developer except if you have a good relationship with one from Elance.

As others have mentioned, a simple PDF reader app would be great. A navigation pane on the left, where one can add simple HTML that will display PDFs (either stored locally or accessible via a URL) on the right. Possibly even an option to hide the navigation pane once the PDF is loaded.
I think having such basic functionality would bring in a ton of new users to AppMakr - indie magazine publishers, community groups who publish newsletters on a weekly basis, reference apps for school where you can have all your notes in PDF form accessible from anywhere, the scenarios are endless.

I vote for quick release of same functionalities with iPad screen size and resolution. But if it does not hold it up for too long, I think the layout for RSS display should be iPadized ... E.g. Titles on one pane (left hand side), and "description" on another pane on the right, similar to the Settings layout. Tab labels should still stay at the bottom though.
We need it ... Fast! That's clear. Please x 3 ! Thank you !

I want to use a iPad AppMakr to make a simple magazine app. Based on PDF's I upload, or perhaps a RSS-feed/podcast with PDF's.

I'd prefer features too but these could come in a second release.
Right now there are missed opportunities for me using appmakr because it doesn't make an iPad app.
I'd like to think that a basic appmakr ipad edition could be completed in weeks with a follow-on version taking months. Even the emulator could stay in iPhone form in the first release.

I would think that just supporting the native screen resolution would be a lost opportunity. Even though I don't have one, I would suggest the default layout should be the three-pane layout, similar to the Pandora app.
1. Left-side scrolling 25% window column with all the tabs. Instead of just four, you could have ten or twenty tabs.
2. Top 40% of right-side 75% window shows all stories in the current tab.
3. Bottom 60% of the right-side 75% window displays current story. Scroll.
Photo gallery would be similar to slideshow on Windows, but with grid of photos below, not long row.
BTW, Please add a music tab, too. Lists of MP3 files that can be played as a playlist.
Anyway, take advantage of the new hardware, but continue to give us a single interface for building the app.

I would be totally happy with a version of apps made by app makr that run in the full screen of the ipad natively. No need for anything fancy in the first release, just native screen resolution apps.
Please, soon, please.

I really can't see how you can put off iPad support any longer. The support could be limited initially ie. no hardware specific hard to do stuff.
I think you could easily exploit the large screen and wow a lot of people.
Please do it asap !!
