Question:

Just curious how our apps would appear/work on the newly released iPad. Will there be iPad support in the future in your app creation tools?

Answer:

It's a very exciting time with the recent launch of the iPad, we got a few in our office, and I must say they're really slick.  If you already have apps for your iPhone or iPod touch, just sync them to iPad from your Mac or PC. They run in their original size or you can expand them to fill the iPad screen.  Now they will be in the same resolution as the iPhone, only enlarged if they are not created for the iPad.   We currently do not offer the iPad app building on your own, but we do offer a customization iPad app. Please fill out the inquiry here. We are working on incorporating it into a structured plan for our customers, stay tuned for more info on that. Thank You!

*Currently iPad is not actively supported for any of our features. At this time iPad is a use at your own risk system as we work on improving iPhone 4 applications, maintain iPhone 3 (which make up almost 40% or more of iphones), and iPods. We are also churning out Android this fall. (These are our current limitations due to resources for our build-for-free system, so thank you all for your patience, help, feedback and support!!!

I would love to have a magazine app for iPad. A simple PDF-viewer, i.e. based on RSS-feeds. Could be both magazines, e-books, manuals etc.

@Leiser, I am new to the iPad and have had mine for about 2 weeks now.  Alongside the iPhone 4, there are some glaring differences that make it HOT ... and when iOS 4.2 gets released, it will be even sexier (yes, Apple is sexy) LOL.

I wanted to give a few examples.  You'll notice the keyboard on the iPad and it's use in landscape mode.  Really great.  Taking an iPhone App and 2X it just leaves the user with a pixelated version of their app and the same tic-tac keyboard.

ABC News for iPad is a very cool example of using "touch" to the max.  The app opens with a "news globe" which can be manipulated and has pop-out windows with stories.  In the top right, you get a choice of views.  Both of these views are best in landscape mode.

If you use ABC News as an example again and use the "news column" view in the upper right, you will see two columns of text (like a newspaper) navigation on the top left (with a dropdown for sections) and videos on the right with a search and share/Save on the bottom.  This is a great example of the flexibility that an iPad UI could provide for different types of feeds and video.  The Washington Post App for iPad is very well done too and shows ads on the bottom.  I just thought that the ABC news showed a bit more variety.

I love that globe even though it's more for Wow factor than function.  The iPad screams WOW!

I'll add more as I think of it.

@ All -- In planning for the future, we'd like some insight into which specific iPad support options you'd like to see implemented first. Please list your suggestions/requests and provide the names of any iPad app examples if possible. Thanks!
