1. Ensure that all your feeds are valid and properly formatted
• Make sure your feed receives a green check when you click validate. To be extra sure, test your feed in www.feedvalidator.org to ensure its quality. You’ll even receive tips on improving your feed for optimal performance.
2. Change all the images and make sure they are the correct size and format
• Icon images must by 512x512 pixels; Splash Screens: 320x480; Headers 320x46. We suggest using PNG formatted images.
3. You must have more than two feeds in your App
• Apple tends to reject Apps that have only one feed. Adding more feeds and content will likely increase the chances of approval.
4. Each feed must contain at least eight stories
• Again, the more content the better. If your feed does not contain enough content to fill the entire screen, we suggest adding more before submitting it to Apple.
5. Do not use self images for the icon, splash screen, or header
• Apple has targeted Apps with personal images, often citing “limited audience.” Our suggestion is to nip the problem in the bud and use fancy artwork instead.
6. Select a different icon for each feed
• We offer over 230 icons to choose from or you can create your own. Using the same one just doesn’t give your App the aesthetic pleasantries that it could have.
7. Check to see that your Display Name is displayed correctly on the simulator (for instance: AppMakr instead of www...com)
• A good starting point is to keep the display name under 11 characters. Regardless of following our advice, you want to be sure to take a look at the simulator, making certain that all the characters are showing properly. Otherwise, shorten it.
8. Do not use a Facebook feed
• Facebook has recently applied limitations on accessing their RSS feeds, hindering performance within Apps.
9. Make a concrete decision regarding your desire to include an advertisement platform
• Either you want them or you don’t. You can even include a custom ad tag to specify how your ads will display.
10. Once you publish, your App is final. Any changes will incur a fee (either $49 for $199 Apps or $99 for $499 Apps).
• When you pay, that tells us that you’re ready to have your App submitted. Then it’s our job to do some internal quality control before sending it off to Apple. Any changes will require us to start the process all over again. Make sure that you’re 100% ready to go before publishing!

Beware: don´t submit apps that has the phrase "Beta" in it somewhere. We accidentally forgot to change this in header image and our app was rejected.

Can you explain the timeline for the Application process?
Google Checkout charged my credit card on March 2nd, but I have not received any status emails from AppMakr or from Apple. When I emailled support@appmakr.com, it was suggested that I use one of the other support options. Come on guys, if I already paid you, you should be able to answer my emails....
Thanks,
Robb
